Due to company expansion, we are seeking to recruit experienced GRP laminators or trainees for our Nottingham-based manufacturing company. Location- Nottingham (Bulwell). Days- Monday- Friday.For evening shift hours 2p2 pm0.pm. O.T. and weekends are available. Rate from 10.50£ Up to £15.00 (depending on skills and experience) per hour + Shift Allowance. O.T. (rate 1.5)+Peformance Bonuses and weekend work are available.
The standard rate for an experienced laminator is £12.50 overtime rate is £18.75.
Candidates with fiberglass and laminating, chop gun machine, painting, and basic carpentry experience will be prioritized Simple flat panels laminating for entry-level laminator but with reasonable speed.
The candidate will be friendly, reliable, and trustworthy with a positive ‘Can Do’ attitude.
Conscious of Health and Safety policies.
Hand Lay-up using different weight chopped strand matt. Flat panels.
Using Polyester resins.
Use of various woodworking tools. Type measure, utility knife, chop saw table saw, angle grgrinderProactive able to demonstrate good use of initiative and be ready to work fast.
Willing to learn and develop. An excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills when interacting with colleagues, and managers.
Work well to targets and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Exel GRP LTD is a well-established manufacturing company. The work will involve using fiberglass and resins to produce various items. Trim-molded components to pre-finished dimensions using hand/electric tools. Packaging ready-made parts.
