Our Steel Enclosures range is built for applications where physical security and impact resistance matter as much as weather protection. Manufactured from 2mm Zintec sheet steel to BS6687-1986, each unit is press-formed and welded, then finished with a two-pack etching primer and two coats of polyester powder paint for a minimum dry film thickness of 50 microns, giving a durable, corrosion-resistant surface built to last outdoors.
Our steel meter housings (D3M, S3M) are certified to IP55 under BS5490, offering strong protection against dust and water while maintaining good earth continuity through the welded steel construction. For indoor, low-voltage applications, our TT-Series standing panels are available in IP41 or IP54, and use a modular frame with removable side panels for quick on-site assembly. The TT-Series has been independently tested to IEC 61439-1/2 (DEKRA certified), passed internal arc testing to IEC 61641, and passed seismic testing to IEC 60068 for Zone 4 conditions up to magnitude 7.
