Typical UKPN GRP Kiosk Requirements
- Minimum 4.5mm GRP wall thickness, or a fire-retardant resin system compliant with BS476 Part 7 Class 2
- A long service life (typically 40 years or more) with low ongoing maintenance
- Suitable for outdoor installation across a wide ambient temperature range, in rural, industrial, coastal and residential environments
- An internal equipment mounting backboard, minimum 18mm thick, fixed clear of the back wall and rated to safely support switchgear and metering equipment
- Fixing points on two or more sides for secure bolting to a concrete base
- Stainless steel door hinges and a lockable, surface-mounted handle
