The D4T GRP Electric Kiosk is a heavy-duty double-door outdoor electrical enclosure designed for substations, distribution boards, metering installations and infrastructure applications requiring increased internal height.
Manufactured in the UK from high-quality Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP / Fiberglass), this enclosure delivers long-term durability, corrosion resistance and reliable performance in demanding outdoor environments.
The cabinet is IP55 rated for dust and water protection and features a UV-stabilised semi-gloss gel coat finish suitable for external exposure. An integrated roof overhang with rain-drip system helps reduce water ingress, while perimeter door seals enhance environmental protection.
Stainless steel hinges and a secure Yale-type cylinder lock provide durable and controlled access.
The enclosure is manufactured using a fire-retardant resin system producing a self-extinguishing laminate compliant with BS476 Part 7 Class 2 (Surface Spread of Flame), providing enhanced safety for electrical installations.
