The W2 Walk-In GRP Electric Kiosk is a large-capacity, heavy-duty outdoor electrical enclosure designed for substations, switchgear, distribution panels and infrastructure installations requiring full internal access.
Manufactured in the UK from high-strength Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP), this walk-in electrical cabinet provides outstanding corrosion resistance, structural rigidity and long-term durability in harsh outdoor environments.
The enclosure is rated IP55 for dust and water protection and is manufactured using fire-retardant resin compliant with BS476 Part 7 Class 2 (Surface Spread of Flame), ensuring enhanced fire resistance for electrical housing applications.
The double front doors allow safe and convenient access for installation and maintenance. Stainless steel hinges, a Yale-type cylinder locking system and full perimeter door seals provide security and weather protection. The integrated roof overhang and rain-drip system improve long-term water management.
