The W7 Walk-In GRP Electrical Kiosk is a heavy-duty outdoor enclosure designed for large-scale electrical infrastructure, switchgear installations, distribution systems and control equipment housing.
Manufactured from high-strength Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) with a UV-stabilised semi-gloss gel coat finish, this enclosure delivers long-term durability, corrosion resistance and weather protection in demanding external environments. The structure is IP55 rated as standard, ensuring protection against dust ingress and water jets.
The spacious walk-in design allows safe internal access for installation, inspection and maintenance of electrical assemblies.
Each enclosure is supplied with a pre-mounted 18 mm water-treated plywood backboard for secure equipment installation. The cabinet is complete with perimeter door seals to enhance dust and water protection.
IP55 dust and water protection ensures long-lasting outdoor performance.
Fire-retardant resin is used internally to provide self-extinguishing laminates compliant with BS476 Part 7 Class 2 (Surface Spread of Flame).
The enclosure features a UV-stabilised external gel coat finish for protection against environmental exposure, while the smooth semi-gloss surface provides a clean, professional appearance suitable for infrastructure and commercial environments.
